Current Research Project
Composition of our Digester
How to use our System:
You need to find an open space outside your home of
1m2 to place the Digester.
separate your organic waste and set in inside the Digester. Mixing with the same quantity of water.
1 Time of usage, you must wait between 2 and 3 weeks to
obtain the first batch of biogas.
Inside the Digester the Anaerobic Proccess will happen and
Biogas will be produced.
Biogas will flow up to the PVC Storage Bagd waitinf to be further used.
After passing trough gas filters, Biogas will be read to be
used for cooking or generate electricity with the generator.

World Waste Production
2050
According to World Bank, it is estimated that by 2050, the waste production worldwide will reach 3.4 Billion tones.
Our thermally-Insulated System
Hoe does it work
Fiberglass wool
sheets will cover the
Digester.3 layer high density
polyethylene UV-stabilized
material of the Digester,
will maintain the
temperature inside
constant.
Our system can provide people with Biogas in cold
weather conditions of -15ºC till -20ºC. Our
system does not consume any external source of energy,
because is it thermally-insultion with these 3materials
layer high density polyethylene UV-stabilized,
fiberglass wool sheets and greenhouse panels.
Maintianing the temperature inside the Digester
constant, having an efficient production of Biogas.
Greenhouse panels will
cover all the Digester
system, maintaining
constant temperature of
25ºC.

Facts about Biogas
Why is Biogas a valuable product
When Microbes are hungry, they eat the available organic
material and result of this microbial activity in abscence of
oxygen (Anaerobic Digestion) is a mixture of gases (Biogas)
which main component is Methane CH4.
Methane CH4 can be used to produce electricity, gasfor cooking, fuel and heating.
1m3 of Biogas= 2KWh of electricity, which can light 20 bulbs of 100 watts per 20 hours.
1m3 of Biogas also = 3 hours of cookin/day.
10 kg of waste are needed to produce 1 m3 of Biogas.
According to EPA, an average family of 4 persons produce 8kg of waste per day.
